Stacey’s first paid job was in Ashington on a Saturday. She worked a a salon called Solo Hair Studio for a lovely girl called Joanne. Stacey loved the salon environment and couldn’t wait to leave school and attend college to learn more. At a school careers meeting Stacey was told that hairdressing wasn’t a good career choice and should maybe select her subject options with a ‘better’ occupation in mind!
