We are excited to to announce that Moda Capelli now offers basic waxing treatments with in the salon.
Our easy clean and clinically decorated treatment room allows you to switch between hairdressing and beauty treatments with ease and privacy.

Why wax?
Over time your hair growth will reduce resulting in longer lasting results between treatments.
Waxing can also reduce in-growing hairs that shaving can result in, which in turn reduces discomfort, irritation and possible scarring caused by removing them.
Waxing gives a smoother, more lustrous appearance to your skin.
Is everyone suitable for waxing?
Unfortunately, some people do have reactions to waxing, mostly resulting in very temporary reactions lasting only a few hours, such as redness, rash like appearance, stinging and heat.
Some medical factors that won't prevent treatment being carried out, but do have considerations to be taken into account.
In very few cases, there are contraindications that may require confirmation from your GP for suitability of waxing treatments.
Do I have to do anything after treatment?
There are several things you will need to be aware of for aftercare following your waxing treatment.
Many will be told to you during your service, such as avoiding sun and hot water for 24 hours. You will need to exfoliate your waxed areas to ensure regenerating skin cells don't encourage ingrowing hairs.

Will it hurt?
This is a question only you can answer, however, it does depend on your therapists technique and your own pain threshhold. You may experience a mild sting like sensation with a heated feel; both will last for only seconds and or minutes. A good technique will generally be less uncomfotable.
